I might replace my 6 bulb Tek T5 with two D120s.

I know inexpensive, but I'm on a budget.

Can Anyone using these provide some input on them?

They're pretty neat little fixtures. I feel the need to clarify that I went with a rebadged D120 from Reefbreeders. They're essentially the same, yet have an american company backing the warranty.

I have one over my wife's 29 gallon. It's dimmable, which is a big plus, and is full spectrum. The casing is solid and durable. All the knobs, switches and hardware that are visible are sturdy and easy to use. There are two channels with corresponding dimming knobs. One channel for the blues, and one channel for the whites. I'm honestly not sure which channel dims the reds/violets.

I'll honestly say that I should have chosen this unit almost a year ago when I was first shopping for LEDs. Instead I went with a higher-priced manufacturer that accomplished pretty much the same thing.

Hope this helps!

Yup. That's who I plan to buy them from. Just doing a little ground work before committing to swapping my 6 bulb tek light.

From what I gather the growth is hit and miss still. Some have good luck others not so much.

That's the thing. I have yet tO have anyone who actually uses them say they were a miss. On two forums. I know it's probably there but I've been hunting for reasons not to buy them, and I can't find any.
