I ask because someone said that a Chalice Dominated Tank would never be Tank of the Month and all that matters is SPS.
He claimed that Chalices were just a fad.
He said look at all the people in the SPS room vs the LPS room.
I argued that the reason you do not see Chalice dominated Tanks is because they are so expensive and are slow growers.
I said wait 10 years and you will see them.
I said they would not be Tank of the Month but Tank of all Time.
Check out the Link here.
I added some amazing Chalice Pics to show him how awesome Chalices were.
You have to scroll down towards the bottom to see the sweet Pictures.

But I also thought hey I should post here as maybe there are some Chalice dominated tanks that I have never seen before.

There is a guy in the "Worlds Greatest Tank Thread" at the top of the SPS Forum that has Chalice covering the bottom of his tank. Very Colorful and impressive. It doesn't make much sense to say that nothing matters but SPS. Even in the "All SPS Tanks" more than 90% are actually mixed reefs; unless it's a tank with a bunch of frags glued to rocks? There are alot of them around? The only SPS only tank I could see in the first thread was Carlos Morhino from Brazil. Even then he has a few Clams in the bottom.
I read your other post, I wouldn't take it personal. Some people are just stuck on SPS, especially if they just spent a fortune on gear specifically with SPS in mind. I wouldn't really say that you could make the comparison, between SPS and other corals based on the number of posts either. Using that as a guide fish would dominate these forums. Also all the SPS is in one forum where LPS, Softies, Shrooms and Zoas each have there own. If you had an Acro forum a, Monti forum etc. it would be different.
If people want to have an all SPS tank that is cool. It would be the same if someone wanted an all Euphillia sp or something like that. It may not look natural though.

This is my 34 Gallon Solana. I have more than a few chalices, but still working on it.
I have Bubble Gum Monster, Mummy Eye, Watermelon, Mummy Eye Morph, Golden Eye, Sexy Beautiful, Ultra Red, and a few more that I forgot the names of. Enjoy!
Sad to say, but I am parting out my tank and will have to sell them all and collect again after I move.

Nice Pictures.
But see that is the thing.
Like someone mentioned in my other post people just keep fragging their chalice's to make money of them .
Does anybody actually grow them out?
If you keep fragging them they will always remain small frags.
Are there any grow out Chalice dominated tanks out there.
