Hello all, I'm starting to burn out looking through these forums, and need help pulling the trigger.

I'm ready to buy a new skimmer for my 160 gallon total system volume heavily stocked mixed reef.

I am stuck between the Aquamax E300 and the Rlss 8i.

If you have first hand experience with these skimmers please highlight your thoughts, likes and dislikes.

I want an effecient unit which doesnt overflow and also doesnt require alot of tweeking..

nothing worse than not being able to decide.

Thanks.

I don't think you'd regret either or. With the AquaMaxx you get IMHO a proven skimmer (proven because the am series before these were great) and the newer em series are better. And with the rlss you get cutting edge tech that NOT ONE RLSS OWNER HAS ANYTHING BAD TO SAY. 100% of the posts I've seen about rlss skimmers were very positive. Not one unsatisfied customer. Your choices are like a 2 headed coin flip... you can't lose.
