Bought this off Jake as a cali tort. Begining to think it may be something else. When i got it, it was a dark solid color but too small to tell if it was brown, blue or purple. As i do with all sps and zoas, i poisoned the hell out of it and qt'd it for 45 days. Thought i killed it because it turned bleach white immediately after the first dip. Didn't want to give up on it so i put it in the display and let it sit bleached out, hoping for a miracle. A couple months ago i noticed a light hue starting to develope. This is what it looks like today. Could use some help with an ID.

Still could possibly be a C. tort.
It has the greenish body with blue coralites.

I have two large colonies of it and each looks different depending on lighting flow etc...one is solid blue and everyone thinks its an Oregon..as mentioned it could still be a Cali..still alittle too small for an ID, but if it starts to grow more upright then it probably is...

Thanks guys. Guess it still has some coloring up to do. Digging the way it looks right now though. Any recommendation for placement?

like most SPS they like good alternating flow and with brighter lighting they tend to look bluer ..
