I made up a bucket of saltwater last week to do a water change. I had a circulation pump in it to circulate the saltwater. Anyhoo, my father was admitted to the hospital and I had to leave town for three days. When I got back home the plug for the pump was knocked out of the wall (presumably by the cat). Anyhoo, the saltwater could have had no circulation for as much as three days. I plugged the pump back in yesterday when I arrived home. Is this saltwater (just made last week) still good to use? Or should it be thrown out?

I'd still use it. I've never circulated mine before using. I mix it up and dump it in.

Unless you are using a salt mix with organics in it, there is no need to circulate the stored water. It will be fine although it is a good idea to aerate stored water for a few hours before use to raise the pH.

Agreed with the above... Aerate it for a bit and use it as long as it is close to temperature matched too

It will be fine. Stir it a bit before using and you're good to go. This will help the salt mix dissolve, that has settled to the bottom.

Which salts use organics? I am using NeoMarine by Brightwell Aquatics.
