Planning my new build. Primary light source are two Ecoxotic 100w Cannons. They're 12k. I'd like to add two to four blue range T5s (one or two to either side of the Cannons) and came upon these 48 INCH SINGLE TUBE T5 HIGH OUTPUT FLUORESCENT DIMMING FIXTURE (http://www.bulbwizards.com/48_INCH_SINGLE_TUBE_FLUORESCENT_FIXTURE_p/0725-dim-42-1-54-elod.htm). Is there any reason these cannot be controlled and dimmed via the Apex?

No, the fixture is dimmable using a home dimmer (like you would have as part of a wall switch). not compatible with the Apex.

The Apex can control On/Off, just not dimming.

That's not what kenargo said.

That particular fixture is not dimmable by the method used by the Apex.

"Dimming controlled by simple 600 watt analogue incandescent wall dimmer"

Fluorescent fixtures using a 0-10VDC control signal are dimmable with the Apex.

Ah ok. So that is accomplished with a ballast that utilizes that control signal?

Are there any 1 or two lamp T5 fixtures available that I can accomplish timed dimming/ramping with an Apex? How about LED strips 48" - 60"?
