I have a outlet that is stuck on. Outlet number 6 is stuck on with a 200 Watt heater attached. This past week its been warmer here and the temp of my tank has raised up to 82-83. I started checking things out and sure enough my second heater is on. I have tried to manually turn it off and nothing. I unplugged the E8 from the wall for 30 seconds each and then checked them and still nothing.. It wont respond..Any suggestions?:headwally:

They definitely do do repairs.

They do repair them. I bought direct from them. The EB8 has a year warranty and I am literally 2 months removed from it. This sucks, $50 minimum to fix the problem with shipping on top of that. I have power strips which are over 8 years old still working perfect.

Yeah.... but power strips don't have brains or a relay/switch in them. Really not a fair comparison, you have to admit.

Well I can't complain with the age of mine.
I think a summer & winter in a pod did not help.

I too have a number 6 outlet that is stuck in the on position. I also had my heater on the number 6 outlet.

I reviceved the same offer from Neptune to send it in for repair. I didn't take them up on their offer. I may buy a new EB8 and then think about sending the broken one in.

I just wonder how may EB8s have failed at the number 6 outlet.

Mine is #3, I also have a second EB8 so a non issue. Has anybody taken one apart to attempt a DIY?

My is on #1 outlet, just have my fix by neptune.. But seem like the heater is the problem. Neptune told me 5amp max for each outlet but my heater is only 200 watt on 120 v. Now i just have my heater on outlet 4 or 8

By the way excellent service by neptune
