What the heck are these?

hello, i'm somewhat new on this forum been lurking around for a while and have only had a SW tank for about 3 months now. Recently i started seeing this in the crevices on my rocks, anyone know what they might be. It's the white fuzzy things, kind of look like eggs or something i'm not sure

could be a fungus or a bacteria

Commonly referred to as pineapple sponge, it's a beneficial filter feeder. They are good and will come with new tank setups and will sometimes explode in numbers but they will subside. It's a good thing!

thank you Dmorty, i really appreciate it! yea they are blowing up everywhere right now. glad to see another ohio reefer! im in the maineville area near kings island
