Will this grow corals? It's the one I can afford for now and it's dimmable.

Probably over a small nano, I use the 120w led dimmable on ebay on a larger tank. Id deffinantly use the 120w oppose to 12w

I guess I need to spend a little more for the 3watt led par38 fixture.

1 watt LED isn't that powerful but it can work over small tanks, what size is yours

I'm starting a mr aqua 17g 24x12x14.

How many do you have and what size is the tank?

If its just 17 gallons your good. You should be able to grow a lot. If it were a deeper lrger tank, forget about it.

That sounds good or I could go for 2 bulb nova extreme t5s, few dollars more. Which option would you choose?
