how much would you sell for when you're ready?

Depends on the colors that are formed. First choice will probably be to trade for other nice corals.

Will do:

Here's a macro shot I took. You can see the purple specs popping up:

I clicked on this because, while I read the word "jawbreaker" my brain went ahead and understood that as "jawfish." Needless to say that was a very disorienting couple of seconds when I first saw the pictures. And that, my friends, is why you shouldnt stalk the forums at 2am.

BUT, these shrooms are so awesome it hurts my soul a little bit.

Das awesome

How old is your Jawbreaker mama? Very nice that you have all the colors coming in and your macro picture is awesome. My mama at 4 years old is just popping the green color. From what I understand it takes anywhere from 5-8 years to get the purple coming in from a naturally growing jawbreaker.

That is simply the most stunning shroom I've ever seen. Where did you get it? I'm drooling.....

Thanks guys.

This guy is about 3 years old. I bought it from a local guy who had a tank leak and sold his stuff. Gets huge during the day. About 5" maybe a bit more.
She's popped out quite a few babies as well that's on the rocks. Some of them have a good bit of red.
I paid quite a bit more than the 200$ the babies go for, but to me to have a mother with these colors was worth it. Hopefully the purple spreads more as time goes by. Pretty much I was saving money to get the new ati led/t5 combo, but that got put on hold cause of the JB. lol.

You always have great eye for the nicest corals. Great coral, probably the best purchase I seen all year.

Are you serious?! That's gotta be the most expensive discosoma I've ever heard of! I've seen some pretty pricey yumas, but nothing over $150.

Truly awesome pictures. What size macro lens did you use. I just got two babies myself but my mother is young and the colors are you faint streaks right now.

I have a small colony of 5 Jawbreakers about 2 years old now, and I only have red and orange now. I hope I get other colors soon.
