cycle?

I have a tank with live rock in it, not sure if there is anything alive. Ok I tested my tank and have a little ammonia in it, is it best to just let run or due partial water change? By doing partial water change will it prolong the cycle?

I would just let it run, no reason to change the water with no bio load. Probably very little die off you shouldnt need a water change. patience is a virtue hardest part of the hobby IMO.
