I have a few questions on a custom tank that I have decided to build and thought I would start a new "build" thread that will take a few months.
I am currently deployed to the Middle East and have had a lot of time to plan a tank (which I have planned about seven so far), I decided to go big and do a Reefsavvy tank. I love shallow tanks (had a 30 shallow I sold before leaving) and the tank I chose is 48"L x 18"W x 12"H which works out to be 45 gallons. It will be Starfire on three sides, black backplane and a smoked glass overflow.
Here are my first two questions. The quote I requested was with clear silicone and right corner but would like some opinions. I think I am now leaning more towards black silicone. What are some suggestions, black or clear and placement of overflow?
