How many dead fish are talking about and how big? I could be wrong but if its a recently deceased fish I don't think it would be the cause of a po4 increase. Either way if you have elevated po4 I would start with a water change, some fresh gfo and go from there.

2 small mandarins . I am using zeovit and the po4 I measured in the morning at 0.21ppm and just measured 0.36ppm

I've had much larger fish go missing with no impact on po4. What are you using to test po4? That's a significant jump for a short period of time. How long have you been running zeo for?

Boney foods including dead fish carry in a lot of phosphate. I'd probably just use a little gfo for a while , until your system catches up.

That does seem like a very high level for two small fish, but my experience level there is small. I agree with trying some GFO, but I might do a couple of water changes if any animals in the tank are having problems. I'd watch the phosphate for a while in case there's another problem.

Do what everyone else said and if you have a skimmer I would run it very wet for a week.

How has the phosphate changed now? Has it continued to increase?
