Any creative ways to add a shelf onto LR without re-aquascaping?

Have a fairly big rock in the tank standing vertically will a flatter face and would love to figure out a way to make some shelves for corals to sit on without having to pull it out of the tank and drill holes...any ideas?

Make a small diameter PVC 'bra' structure and use ties and eggcrate to make the shelf in it. Then cover with concrete or gorilla glue and sand.

Then just hang and snap around the back of the rock.

I just did similar with my tank.
I used the suction caps of a heater and glued them to the rock, then suckered the rock to the back glass.
It works but slides down sometimes, if I were to do it again I would buy a couple of magnets and use on the rock and one outside the tank.
