Maize and Blue

Hi all,
I have just set up a new 75 gallon tank. I've had a million freshwater tanks but this is my first venture into saltwater. So far I have:
-AquaC Remor Hang on Protein Skimmer
-Aquatop CF500 Canister filter w/ Uv Sterilizer.
-2 powerheads that work very nicely (not sure what type they are).
-100 pounds of dried out live rock in the tank which I am going to add some real live rock to in order to make all the rock live again.
-just ordered a nice 48" T5 light fixture which should arrive shortly.
-2 heaters each for a 30 gallon tank, using both to get enough heat
The Current Status of the tank:
-has been set up for 3 days
-rock and live sand all set up and placed nicely
-all equipment running and working fine
-salinity at 1.023, PH 8.3
-temp at 80
-just started adding a couple fish food flakes last night to start cycle
I have some extra money to spend (about $250) on the tank.What should I spend it on?
Questions:
-I know I want an RO/DI Unit, here's the one I was going to get:

-I would like to replace the 2 heaters and consolidate to one heater, which wold you guys recommend getting?
-What are your thoughts on a grounding rod? I am worried about stray voltage in the tank.
-I only have a test kit for PH, what other test kits are necessary to get, and what other things should I monitor for besides PH and salinity.
My vision for the tank is to start with some basic fish in a month or two. Corals in 6 months, nothing too crazy until about a year.
