Just want to see what you guys think. I picked up this guy yesterday for my 225 fowler tank. He is doing great and his colors look amazing under my LED's.

What do you think and then Ill tell you what I paid for him. I am thinking Aussie

Looks like my Aussie. Do you have inverts? Mine loves shrimp and snails. He also turns the hermits upside down all the time. He is lucky I like him more than I hate buying new snails. Lol

No, I don't have any shrimp anymore. Switched my tank from a full blown reef to a semi aggressive FOWLR( with some cheap corals).
His colors look way closer to the upper pic(aussie) from live aquaria, but then again I know they all vary in color.

I am happy with him either way, but I just wanted to see if I got a good deal or an amazing deal on this fish.

Thanks for the help.

He is in there with just a snowflake eel and about 10 blue/green chromis left over from my reef. I had a 12" coral rock grouper but he was so aggressive. I moved him to my sump and am trying to find a home for him now. I grew him up in my reef and he never ate anything until he got around a foot this year.

I would say Aussie due to the coloration on the tail, all the Indo i have seen have a soild white tail. Then again i havent seen to many indo's so???

I would have to say he is Aussie. I am guessing you paid indo price for him? If so you definitly got a steal on a beautiful tusk.

Thanks guys. I paid $56 plus tax for him. I know the store owner so I got a good deal. But his pick list says Indo , so he sold it to me for 20% over his cost. He got two of them.

I agree, all if the Indos I have seen have pure white tails.

Either way I'm extremely happy. He is eating frozen krill, live ghost shrimp, and pe mysis as well. He loves to chase his reflection a lot too. Lol

That's a great steal on the fish. Where are your from, someone on here might want to pick up the other one at that price. You have to try to help out others as well

I'm in south FL!!! Lol. There is another store I found today selling one for $70. He ordered from the same supplier! I'd say someone is gonna be ****ed when they find out who shipped out 3 Aussies instead of 3 indos

Doesn't help me, but hopefully someone on here and can take advantage of this screw up.

The boss at that supplier is definitely not going to be happy about this one
