I have had my rodi running for about 6 months now and have made probably 350 gallons of water using it. My tds meter has started to read 1 and the water before the filter is about 40. What needs to be changed to get it back down to zero? I have a flush kit on it but it didn't do anything for the tds I am seeing. Is it normal to get that little water before needing to change filters?

40 for tap water is really good. check the di resin. it changes colors as it's used up.

also I've noticed that when air is introduced into the system, it does a great job cleaning the ro membrane....much better than the flush kit does.

do you know your tds after the ro but before the resin ? with 40 going in it should be close to zero coming out of ro.

I know my di has changed color so I guess I need to change it. I have no idea of the TSS before my di.

The flush kit flushes the membrane only and isn't made to improve the filters or DI resin. The DI filter is usually the first to go that's why I have refills on hand.
