Octogan Stand Sump

I'm turning a 42 Gallon Octogan Stand into a sump. The entire thing will be the sump. What material would you use? Acrylic Panels?

It's a wooden stand.

I would make a tank out of plywood/fiberglass/resin and optionally glass a panel, pvc or acrylic and take the stand apart enough to get the tank in it. This could be taking the top rim off, three faces off, etc... I don't see making a stand into a tank as working out all that great if you don't have great access (in which case you probably could do the above) to every corner from any angle.

Sorry my bad, English is my first language, I would use fiberglass, there was a whole seller in the trade back in the 80's and he had wood with fiberglass tanks and sumps I went back there about 7 years ago and they were all still in good shape.
