What supplement can I use for Biodigest?

Hi. My friend gave me biodigest for my tank and I dosed it to my 35 gallons last night. I heard you have to suppliment the biodigest with bioptim but I do not have any way of buying that anytime soon? Is there anything I can use for now so the biodigest bacterias wont die? If there is what dosage of that suppliment should I add? Is there a negative effect if I just use biodigest without the supplimentation?

It's unclear what the various microbe products do. I can't think of any downsides to dosing just the Biodigest, as long as you don't badly overdose it.
