Do you see or have ever gotten bubbles In the chamber? I can't seem to get rid of it. If I move the out tube some air releases but it just comes back again. Will this have any effect on anything? I'm running the shorty with brs gfo.

I use the XL reactor and do not get any air going into the reactor .....maybe the reactor isn't fully sealed

I opened it twice and tightened everything and air still gets in it.

GFO is supposed to tumble, do you have enough space in the shorty for the GFO to tumble? I keep carbon in the shorty and GFO in the larger MR1. I've never had trouble with air getting in, although I don't think a little air would cause any problems.

You could be drawing the air in from between the supply pump and the reactor

I tumble mine slightly. Almost like a steady boil of water. I left plenty of space for it too move though.

Azjohnny - maybe the ball valve on the inlet line is drawing in air. It's a two little fishes valve.
