I am wondering if a mp40 and wp40 would be to much flow for a 100G 48x20x25? I am currently using a mp40 and aqueon 1250 opposite end but it seems the corners behind the overflow isn't getting much flow and of course that is where my Monti Plates are.. What are your thoughts? I have 2 korellia nanos I can put back in the corners if that would work as well? It's mostly LPS/Mushrooms with the sps splattered in just starting in SPS world. Thank you!

You should be fine with the mp40 and wp40.

To be honest I would start just with the MP40 you can always buy the wp40 later if you find the flow to be too little. I have a 100 gallon rimless and have just an MP40 and the return as my circulation and I have to keep the MP40 toned down at about 50% with SPS in the tank. However my rockwork is somewhat minimal. I have found the MP40 has more than enough power to get the whole tanks worth of water turbulent.

Cool thanks for the info the funny thing is I had already bought the WP40 online when I came across the great deal for the mp40. I went ahead and hooked it up on small pulse mode and have the vortech going to at about 30% everything is open and super happy! flow is very even and I do have about 120lbs of liverock. So the little additional is doing the trick also the WP40 is WAY quieter then the mp40 it just doesn't look as aesthetically pleasing
