Hey guys well I have a 20g tank I am only doing a fish only and maybe coral in the future but I feel like I do not have enough flow in my tank and was wanting to add a powerhead I have narrowed it down to these 2. I'm am curious on your input on which one I would go with and what model... I appreciate any info given. Thanks in advance.

I guess it really depends on what you are wanting to get of the purchase. What size are you looking to get?

I personally have 2 Koralia Nano 245's on a SmartWave Controller and absolutely love it. Fish play in the powerheads and corals sway and love the flow.

I can's speak for Tunze as I have never owned one.

Both would work fine. I have owned both, but I do prefer Tunze. Tunze are a bit more expensive, but you get 2 years of warranty with great support during and even after warranty. They are highly reliable and silent.

Something along the lines of the Tunze nano 6015 or 6025 might work...if you decide to go Tunze.

Tunze. Not an elitest, just someone that bought 4 Koralias before I got a single Tunze and should have done that in the 1st place.

Ditto. To everything greech said. Except I went through more Koralias before I switched, and two of them shorted out in my tank.

I'd recommend a Tunze Nanostream 6015 for the 20g. You really won't be disappointed.

tunze. your tank isnt huge and the tunze are smaller

I like the Tunze better, too. I've had both and IME the Tunze outlast the Koralias. I think it's like buying good shoes or pocketbooks v cheap ones. The cheap ones are less in the short run but more expensive in the long run because they just don't last!

I went through several hydors, two of which shorted in the tank, before purchasing a tunze. They end up being quite a bit cheaper long term.
