View Full Version : How to tap into Copper or PEX plumbing

We try hard to steer people away from using the piercing saddles to tap into their plumbing. For many reasons, they are much less than ideal.

So if you have copper or PEX plumbing what's the best option? We have a number of them here:

The two compression ports (the ports with the nuts on them) fit 1/2" copper, or PEX perfectly. The valve port has a quick connect that takes the 1/4" or 3/8" feedwater tube.
