I'm trying to control some relays with an Arduino microcontroller (Mega2560 and rev3 Ethernet Shield) and a hacked American DJ PC100A.

Here are a few links I've been looking at:

http://reefprojects.com/wiki/Build-phases

http://hydra-reef.com/wiki/Relays

The first one ends up with what appears to be 9 wires, one from each switch and a neutral off the fuse. He claims to experience some stray voltage, possibly coming from the lamp on the switches themselves.

The second one ends up with 8 pairs of two, but it's hard to tell how it's been rewired from the pictures.

I tried the first one and I'm also ending up with some stray voltage. The lamp and the switch on the power strip both flicker when the input (float switch) is low. It works fine if I just hook it up to the relay independently of the power strip.

Has anyone else gotten this to work successfully?
