LSM question

If I were to buy one of these modules with 2 LED. Will I be able to expand to more LED or would I have to replace the 2 with 5 LED when needed.

I was just hoping to buy 2 then add 3 onto it.

I just got my 5 string today, but it looks like you would have to buy a new one.

thats why I bought a 5 string, wasnt sure how many I needed. I can always tape up or hide the additional once
