I use Tropic Marin. Love the way it mixes. Alittle pricey, but my kids are worth it!

Been using regular Instant Ocean since I started in 1988. Here are two of my tanks I maintain using IO:

Instant ocean works if you dose. I use reef crystals because I don't have very demanding corals and get by just fine with water changes..

i started out with regular Instant Ocean. then i moved to Instant Ocean Reef Crystals.

then switched to SeaChem Reef Salt, briefly tried SeaChem Salinity but the bucket i got was hard to dissolve and often came out cloudy, so i am back to SeaChem Reef Salt.

Timfish, do you dose anything at all with your instant ocean?

The first video with the green slimmers has both calcium and kalkwasser reactors and 30 gallon water changes weekly. The second video, Simple Simon's Reef, gets a 1/4 cup of Caribsea's aragamight every 10 or 11 days with a 20 gallon water change with tap water.

Im using Red Sea Coral Pro.

The people that said they use this over Coral Pro, why the switch? Since I run biopellets and pretty much have a ULNS its been suggested to keep Alk lower around 7, should I make the switch to the blue bucket as well?

Hopefully the change is an improvement in my sps and coloration.
