New 80 pro DSA tank has 1 large center over flow with 2 drains and 2 returns in it. Don't know what everyone uses now a days for drain stand pipes or are Durso stand pipes still the main use? Do 2 Durso's work in 1 overflow?

Second question is
Wanting to keep the sump quite as tank is in living room. Thinking of going with just a Mag7 for return pump which give around 400 gph through sump/overflows. Does this sounds reasonable or better off with mag 9.5?

If you want something quiet, the Mag Drive is possibly one of the worst options. They are powerful and reliable but also loud and hot. Go for an Eheim, Laguna or Water Blaster if you want quiet.

For the drains, you can read up on the "herbie" drain, which uses both holes with one being a full siphon slowed by a gate valve, and the other as a dry back up. This set up will handle more than twice the flow of a duroso, and be both silent and bubble free.

Second on the pump advice, anything but a mag pump :)

I really like my eheim.
