I never put my tank up because I fear criticism.. :)

However, here it is. It's close to 10 months old now; and getting more interesting every day.

And my fav fish... A lot of people say Scopas are ugly; but I think he is lovely... He has so many little iridescent blue spots, and he smiles :)... He is such a cutie.

Criticism? That tank is so clear, everything looks healthy, fish not dull. Great work on it, wow. And what kind of wrasse is that?

It looks like you're doing a great job. I'm also a big fan of the Scopas and the little Wrasse ;)

I feel like I need to fill in some space.

Initially; I was all about a clean minimal set up. Now I'm kind of wishing I put in more rocks and layered them differently so corals could be placed on them easier. Right now they are sort of like mounds so it's not easy to place corals on there.

Ah well. I'll see where it takes me.

Gotta watch those hairy shrooms... they will eat those little fish!! I have never heard of this until yesterday. Shocked me! Now I am trying to figure out a way to get them out of my tank!! haha... But yes everything looks great. And I am one of those that don't find the scopas as nice as other fish but hey, everyone has different opinons. I do like the close up shots. Very nice.

Nice tank. I've had my scopas for years and he has been a good fish. Comes to the front when i walk up to the tank (pig) and is always curious and has to be shooed away when i'm doing something in the tank. Do you have an equipment list?

Looks really good! And nice pictures!

What size Koralias are those, and how is the flow with them in your 125?
Thanks

I'm using a 60" ATI Sunpower 6 bulb fixture. 2 blue plus, one actinic, 1 purple plus, 2 coral plus

Yes I heard about that; but I keep my shrooms pretty well fed. Here is a pic of my goby chillin' on said shroomies. I feed them scallops; and they don't even attempt to close when fish are around them... Plus they seem to have a hard time eating a piece of scallop LOL... But I have seen people say they eat fish.

2 hydor koralias 1400gph
mag drive 9.5 return
eshopps 1200 hob overflow
eheim jager 300watt heater
bubble magus curve 5 skimmer (probably going to upgrade to a 7 or 9.. seems fine, but when I purchased I didn't realize that you're supposed to over compensate)
ATI Sunpower 6 bulb 60" T5HO fixture

They are 1400gph ones; and to be honest I wish I had of went with 4 smaller ones than two big ones. It's hard to adjust flow. However; it seems to be working out very well as my system is mostly LPS; and I don't have a lot of rock like some people; so I'm sure the open water helps. I may add more flow in the future since I have begun adding some SPS. However right now I have an acro, a pocillopora and a monti and all three have been doing excellent.
