Matted filefish and coral

I have a lot of aiptasia in my tank. I put some peppermint shrimp and they are not that effective. I want to get a matted filefish. My tank has the following coral and algae, will they be ok with the filefish?

Mushroom coral
(Hydnophora) Horn Coral
Green star polyps
Nephthea tree coral
Dragon breath algae

That should be fine with a matted filefish.

i used to have a matted file fish just as an insurance for aiptasia control if i was to get any. in my reef tank it never bothered any corals of any kind. i never had aiptasia either. then i got rid of the tank and in the new setup i have all dry pukani rock and a copper band.
