Ok folks I got a 29g and a ac110 hob fillter. I was thinking 30 pounds of LR, 20 pounds of sand and some powerheads and a heater. Fill order a 4 bulb h5 aquatic life light system. how does this set up sound? What power heads do y'all suggest. The ac110 will just be for mechanical filtration not a fuge. Am I missing anything?

Can't speak for the lighting don't know anything about it, I've run AC110 on 10-29g before as filtration and fuges in the past, clean weekly to avoid nitrate build up. Going by other equipment I'm guessing an mp10 is more then you want to spend, so as far as cheaper powerheads go IMO the Tunze nanostreams are great. Side by side with similar output Koralia nano the Tunze seems much more powerful and flow can be felt further away. They're about $35 at dr foster smith.
Might want to consider a HOB or Internal skimmer.
