So i am beginning to put corals in my tank...so far, I have a Green star polyp ...some zoas...and a torch... but the bottom of my tank is still pretty bare...

what are some good bottom placement corals with movement? will probably be in the sand, or maybe a inch up on a small rock ...

I am trying to work my way from bottom to top, so i dont disturb anything

depends on how deep your tank is, and what kind of light you are running

Although invasive, xenia's actually pump. They always fascinate people. Polyps of different sorts (anthelia, pipe organ) will wave around with the current, but again, these can be invasive as well. I've never had a tank without xenia, i just prune it back when i see it spreading. You have to be diligent though.

LiveAquaria is your best friend. It will list where corals should be placed. With that said I have a Favites, a Duncan, a Hammer, GSP, and Alveopora on my sand bed. I have a Hydnophora at the top, a Frogspawn mid tank, and Zoas mid tank.

This will change tonight when I obtain like 8 more corals. Mostly Zoas.
