Okay, here it is. I had a galileo light fixture which ran 4watt leds and 27 of them, had great growth and everything was great. Until it went for a swim... Out of emergency and need of a light I bought a deep blue solar flare dx... This light is seriously a bright led light. It has 3watt leds and 36 leds, there is no dimmer... I have it over my tank right now and the light is hanging 12".. My candycane have not fully came out since the switch. My blastos have... The rest of the corals zoas, hammer, frogspawn etc have been happy... Should I go higher or cut back the time the lights are on. My old light had blues on for 12 hours and white for 10.. The new light I have been running blue for 12 and white for 8

Give it a week. The candy cane should be fine.

Thanks, i know it's a lps but I feel it's more sensitive like sps than the frogspawn and what not. Those take all the light and don't care much.. Thanks again

FYI, I switched to LEDs and my CC took two weeks to fully come out, I also did some tank re-landscaping when I switched to LEDs so that may have been part of the delay
