Moments after introducing him he got way to close to my urchin! I pulled it out this morning and the area has its color back already. Anything I should do or watch out for?

not as good as a pic but you can see the white area around where the urchin got him.

Just keep a close eye on him and make sure he's eating regularly. From the looks of it, it doesn't look like he got hurt too bad.

Hes looking good today. Eating Mysis but won't touch any of the dried algae in a clip or attached to a rock. Do baby hippo's prefer meaty foods?

personally I wouldn't care what he was eating as long as he was eating. I would offer the fish as much food as I could get him to eat and would do so often.

Mine is still a baby and he doesnt touch nori yet but my purple tang loves that stuff.

My hippo goes nuts over meaty food. I actually make blender mush for the tank and she flips out when I feed that. She'll pick at Nori and Romaine but the shrimp/clam/oyster/mussel mix gets her every time.

Good to know meaty food selection is common thanks everyone. Little man is still doing great.
