View Full Version : Critter Identity?

Evening everyone,
Hope we've put this in the right forum....

Hubby and I are new to this, but have learned a lot from the various forums (thanks to you all!!!)
We've had our 29gal cube running now since Christmas Eve, and been patiently adding bits and bobs to the tank from our LFS.
we have a number of corals and mushrooms in the tank as well as 6 fish and various invertebrates.
we had our share of hitchhikers and done the research and found out about most of them except for this guy who we've named 'Spiney Norman' (picture attached).

we think he's some form of nudibranch.....
Any thoughts? and is he reef safe? If not, how do we dispose of him?

Appreciate any input...

Indeed, looks like an aeolid nudibranch. Generally unwelcome.

It does look like a nudibranch, keep an eye on it and see if he doesn't bother anything, or if you don't want to risk just take it out.

Appreciate the ID and the advice.
We've decided to leave him alone (at least for now)
Thanks for now....

Yea I agree. I also got a 29 gal cube and want to hear your fish stock list if you don't mind.
