I've this beautiful antennarius maculatus since almost one year.
very healty and hungry, after he has eaten 3 small ghost shrimps almost 3 weeks ago, started to swell.
now he has a pretty big bubble in his stomach and stays always upsidedown, trying to get rid of it.
Someone have had a similar experience?
any suggestion how I can help him?

Happen to mine before before ..You have to burp him..Just gently message the belly and work it out ..Obviously keep the fish under water

Roenicknewf,
I just tried but no success.
as soon as I caught him,he ingested water inflating his body for defence.
any more specific suggestion how to do it?
thanks.

I know with puffers you grab them by the tail and shake them back and further under water
