Any ideas folks?
This Pbrown has been in QT for about 3 weeks now. I thought she had flukes, so I RO dipped, no real change.
As practise in our fish QT and HT we use Chloroquine phosphate as a treatment method. The Pbrown has been in there for 2 weeks now (awaiting a further week). This should have killed whatever it was if it were a worm I'd have thought.
I netted the fish to see if some slight abrasion through netting would dislodge incase it were only a bit of un-living foreign object. This removed most of the 'thing' but some still remains.
Apologies for the extra noise in the photos, hope this doesn't affect the possibility of an ID, however I had to up the ISO to account for the darkness necessary in a Chloroquine treatment.
The last photo I have edited to accentuate the body of this foreign object so you can see the shape better.
