Well I have my Quarantine tank on display and I wanted it to look more like a tank instead of an empty tank with a corner pvc sitting in it.

Right now I have some LR in there to try and speed the process up and get some algae onto the pvc. Once some algae grows onto the pvc I will be moving it out of there.

The PVC isn't the largest pvc but I plan on only have smaller fish and I drilled and cut some large openings on it. I also painted it Satin Black with the krylon fusion and let it sit for almost a week.

Nicely done. My only concern is will the fish come out enough for qt observation?

Thanks! We will see I made a lot of openings and drilled holes to make sure most of it is still visible.

def something different. I too hate how empty a QT is. but its mostly for viewing of the fish then the appeal of the tank. good luck....

That makes sense. But for the $20 it cost me I like it better than any fake decorations I would have gotten. I will see how it goes, if the fish is hiding too much then I will probably have to remove it. Thanks for the input.

Interested in how long the krylon fusion paint will last submersed in saltwater.

Looks like a pretty decent set up.

Any issues with the krylon fusion paint? I really want to paint my unsightly white overflows in my corner drilled tank.... Just worried about paint in the water.
