Ok I am a really bad photographer and the setting the camera was on took really large pics so I resized as much as I could and they were still too big to attach to my post so you'll have to go to the website I just kinda made to see them. And the pics don't even come close to doing this clam justice. anyway there it is .

NICE. The mantle extension on your first clam is great.

I need to take some overhead pics of my clams but that means I'll have to take em out of the water...

Thank you. He is my pride and joy. He was too much too resist when I saw him. :D The new one has alot of new growth so I am thinking that when the rest of her catches up to the shell she will expand well too :)

The new clam has started to extend better today.

Nice clams, I enjoy how they have the nice hot colors and then the orange/brownish strips on the mantle.. Very nice!:D

I'm sure the new clam's mantle extension will be just as great or even better than the first one's within a few more days. Just give it more time.

BTW, I'm excited for you on your new clam if I didn't already mention that.

I do too. It's hard to tell from my pics, but the new one has an orangish/pinkish stripe. I haven't seen one quite like it before.

I'm sure the new clam's mantle extension will be just as great or even better than the first one's within a few more days. Just give it more time.

my boyfriend took better pics today got one or 2 from above that show the colors much better. He used a piece of pvc that was like 4" in diameter and shot the pics through it so the water current at the top of the tank didn't mess up the pic :). I am going to get them up on the site as soon as his comp restarts and I can steal the pics from over there and put them on my comp lol.
