Hey guys, I hate to do this but I need to find a new home for my sailfin. I got him a few months back from a fellow reefer and he's beautiful healthy and about 5". He was doing great in the tank until today when I added 2 more smaller tangs. I really want him to go to a nice size tank, he's in a 180 now. Asking price 40 obo just need to find a good home price is not to important.

They are truly a beautiful fish, unfortunately he is pretty big, right now he's in my smaller tank, doing fine but I know he can't stay in there. I'm thinking about reintroducing the sailfin if I can't get him into a new tank soon and hope for the best.

It is not a Desjardini. Here's a pic. It does the fish no justice though...

Little curious may I ask why you removed it from the 180?

I added a purple tang and blonde naso, he was beating up the purple tang pretty bad. Especially when the lights turned off.

Hi Heidi!! Unfortunately not, a little over a year ago our return pump went and fried our tank.we lost corals, fish, everything except 3 clownfish and a rock anemone :( horrible but we started everything back up again about 4 months ago.

I wondered how he did when you added him with your other tangs. Sorry about your tank crash! Sounds like you are good to go again!

Thanks,if I remember correctly the yellow tangs I had were aggressive at first but then everyone got along. Starting over sucks big time but I'm glad to be starting everything back up again. Waiting for things to grow out and fill in seem to take forever!

Interesting. Purples can be a real SOB, surprised the Naso wasn't the target.

I know! This purple tang is letting everyone bully him, not like purple tangs I hear of.sailfin never bothered anyone before he was always so scared.
