What happend to Acquatinics lighting company?

Whatever happened to the Acquatinics lighting company? The one that sold MH/T5 & T5 lighting fixtures?

Gone... I had one of their T5 fixtures and loved it.

Probably fell under along with IceCap and Sunlight Supply. I'm guessing it's due to the recent LED craze eating up way too much of their business.

I have one of their 5bulb T5 fixtures. I looked them up on the web and they answered an email I had about which ballast to use as one of mine died. Not sure if they are producing for someone else but they are still here. The responded within 24 hours.

I have their MH/T5 fixture & love mine too. I left the hobby a few years ago, but held on to their fixtures and I am glad I did. I am not ready to trade them for LED's yet, since the technology is still being perfected.

I have the same concern, when parts go bad with time...how and with what to replace them with.

What I understand that they left the aquarium trade and still have his lighting company.

Speak of the devil, my T5's just died. I hope it is the bulbs & not the ballast.
I have to try to obtain their contact info.

Can't you just switch out the ballast with another brand, I bought my ballast for my Giesemann from Reef Geek.
