I'm looking for a protein skimmer. I'm looking for an in sump version. Can't afford full retail so a used one is my best bet. It's for a 60g. Anyone have one they aren't using?

I got a Bubble Magus for my cube from the Space Coast Convention. Got it from Reefers Direct. I think they are in Orlando.

No sir. I thought it was a good price on a good new skimmer. I bought a used one on here for $100. And I was not happy with it. For a little more I got a decent skimmer that was new.

Look into the SCA65 skimmer: http://www.scaquariums.com/product_p/sca-301.htm

Reviews are great, and 2 personal friends have them and are very happy with the results.

+1 on the Bubble Magus Skimmers also. Affordable, quiet, well built units. I have been using them for years now. Got my NAC6 when it first hit the market and it's still going strong with the original pump.

Another good deal in lakeland: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2324411

Looks like sca and bubble Magnus is same skimmer with a different label. What size did you opt for your 60g?

I have no idea. I don't think there is a label with the model# on it. It was the one that cost 169$ lol
