Just wonderin' cuz I was supplimenting my Phoenix 250w with actinic plus T5's but I wanted more fluorescence. Thing is, according to the graph on the box, there is lots of light below 400 nm. I'm wondering if 12 hrs of this possibly UV type light will cook my sps?
Can anyone using these tubes confirm its fine or bad ?

Should be fine. People have been running halides and actinics for awhile now with good results.

Just checking cuz this tube in particular boasts being the only tube in the U.S with a true pure low "nm" spectrum. Its the potential U.V that concerns me.

Compare the spectrum to a ge6500

10k halides have more of this wavelength than 20k halides so using actinics with the Phoenix will help cover more of the low end wavelengths the Phoenix lacks.

Pure actinic is low par. It should be fine
