Welcome Timmy. There's nothing wrong with pointing and clicking to explore the site. I'm not sure if there's a guide anywhere but there is a forum section called questions and feedback. You might poke around there some.

On each section of the forums, you'll see "stickies" which are important information that the admin people keep viewable always. There's some great reading there
