So I may just have been extremely tired but I have been looking for a vendor that sells Deltec Equipment here in the United States and I'm not having much luck. I have some expansion ideas for my aquarium but they are mostly dependent on finding the Deltec equipment. Any thoughts?

Good Luck with this, as I have tried contacting deltec for spare parts 6 months agofor a few of my skimmers. I was lucky to get one return call, but when I called back to place the order all the calls went to a back hole, so I gave up. Sold all my deltec equipment and am no longer a fan. Its a shame, great products, but lack of support.

That is too bad. I purchased several items directly from Marvin a few years ago, and actually had really good luck with support. I just looked up the address in Arizona, and it is about 1/4 mile from my office, but it shows a residential house on the Google Map?

Yeah, I think with all this trouble of getting the equipment here in the United States that have gone with a few other manufacturers currently.

You can still get parts and support from Xenia North America if needed. Give them a call.

Sorry to hear that about Deltec/Marvin. You could contact the rep in Canada maybe he could setup a Canada/USA distribution hub.

I am sad because I really want a Deltec Nitrate Reactor. I guess I will have to do some searching.

I contacted the rep in Canada and he was very helpful. I needed a new pump for my calcium reactor and he took care of me. I would give him a call.

How do you like it?

I took it off line because the difficult part is getting a good reliable feed pump doing 36 ml/min, I tired a aqua lifter and that wasn't effective got a rotten egg smell so i took it down I had a DD 36 ml/min peri pump from Deltec and it would rattle and make too much noise. I also have the 1ml/mn pump from them that one works great.

Are you using the Carbon Fluid directly from Deltec to feed the reactor? If I purchased one I would be feeding it using a doser such as a Profilux.

Profllux cannot be ran 24/7 but they are great for the liquid doser. I used to run the liquid from Deltec I believe that it is the same as Red Sea's NO3-PO4-X you could also use diluted vodka.

That is awesome. I will give him a call on my lunch break to discuss the de-Nitrification Reactor.
