After using this calculator

I think have decided to go with (2) 150W heaters in the sump of my new total 110 gallon system. Using the double heater at lower wattage should prevent frying if one sticks on. If one fails off, I would think the temp decline would be gradual, given the working 150W might not keep up, but would still offer something.
If I doubled up with two 250-300w heaters, sure one could heat the tank if the other fails off, but if one sticks on it would have enough wattage to overheat. What do you think? Not ready to shell out for the controller yet...
