View Full Version : Looking for a black dogface or a yellow belly dogface.

I have been looking for one of these for a while and I had a chance to get a black one but someone bat me to it. Does anyone know where I can get one online or at a local fish store. Size doesn't matter cause I'm getting ready to build a 8x4x30" plywood tank this winter so it will fit in there fine once built.

I know of a store in Dayton, OH with a black dog face, I got one there a year or so ago. Shoot me a pm and I'll get you the details.

I'll try to swing by that shop today on my way home and get a picture and find out if its eating.

I got mine from there a year ago and it was 199.99. It was steep, but I really wanted the fish.

You could call World of Pets in Florence. Lots of good experience with them and they'll order the fish for you.

I didn't have time to stop by today and probably won't tomorrow either. I'll try to get there Friday and take a picture and ask them to feed the fish if its still there.

You could also try NYAquatics ..
Usually if you email him and request something different ,he will get it in shortly for you ..Thats where i got my tri colored dogface(avatar)

Here is the picture, I apologize it took me so long. They have it listed at $199, kind of steep, but it's what I paid for mine. He's a little on the thin side, but it's eating and I know it's been there for at least two months.
