Hey guys, Il start off by saying that I have a 4ft 100 gal aquarium
Water parimeters are all exceptable
. Ammonia 0
.Nitrites 0
.Nitates 20
And has the following stocking list;
Yellow tang
Common clowns X2
Jewel puffer
Fiji yellow bellied damsel
Humbug damsel
Lemon damsel
Dwarf golden moray eel
Okay, so the problem is that even though I treated my fish for whitespot around 2 weeks ago they are twitching still and there are no visable signs of parasites on them any more. The yellow tang is worse as at random times he does this as in the video

And at the end my dwarf moray twitches in this video

Hes been in there for 2 days so far as I thought I had the parasite defeated.
Is this anything to worry about? Maybe thinking its gill flukes?
and if it is a parasite or disease would really like to get it sorted before my banana moray gets here, which I can delay if neccesary.
Also it isnt hindering their eating so maybe I am overreacting. Just want to be sure before a really expensive fish goes in. Dont want any of my fish in danger.
Thanks in advance! :)

What did you treat them with?

Was eSHa oodinex - wide range treatment finished 2 weeks ago in the main display.

The reason there are still showing symptoms is because you used a product that claims to kill ich but not inverts, hmm last I checked ich is an invert therefore the product didn't kill the parasite, also 2 weeks is not a long enough treatment course.

In my experience anything that says reef or invert safe is generally not effective for parasites. I'd look into another plan.

+1

If you have had crypt in your display tank, it will remain a threat until your remove its hosts (i.e. fish) and leave it fallow for 8-10 weeks. You need to treat your fish using one of the proven methods (copper, tank transfer or chloroquine phosphate) in separate hospital tanks. The stickies at the top of this forum offer a wealth of information on crypt lifecycle and treatment.

Not sure whats up, but my dwarf moray keeps on wiggling against the rocks like hes trying to scratch, would it be best to pull him out and quarantine him to try and fix the problem?
