For my 20 Gallon.

After 4 years of savings i bought this Hailea Chiller HC-150A. I am very happy. Now i can keep corals.Yahoo.

It took 1.5hrs to cool my 20gallon(No Sump) from 89.6f to 80 .6f. Also i had to adjust the temp. manually on chiller with my tank digital thermometer. The chiller was showing 1 deg higher. So i adjusted it.

Can u guys suggest some easy beginners corals which dont need much light or can survive in higher nitrates. My nitrates are 20ppm most of the times. I have only 2 fish 1 is chromis and 1 is yellow watchman goby. Weekly water replace. feeding once only. Never over feed.

Thanks in Advance.

your tank got to 89.6 and the fish survived? Wow.

Try some soft coral like Zoas, Frogspawn, Xenia (might take over your tank). . .

thanks.

Yes my earlier fishes have survived even above 99 deg during peak summer i.e May June.

it happens only in India.

ok i like moving corals just like LTA's which are not fixed. i think frogspawn is good but any other.

i am keeping my tank at 80.6 f. i have my haliea chiller showing me 1 deg lesser than my digital thermometer bought from here :

Wow on the challenges of keeping a tank in India. I have visited your beautiful country and wonder about your power supply. Even at our fancy offices there are frequent brown outs.

Would be awesome to see photos of your local fish stores to see what is sold there.

Good luck!
