I have a tail spot Blenny for 3 weeks. He grazes on the rocks but there isn't much to graze. I think it is looking skinny. I feed the clowns elos pellets which they happily eat. I tried sinking hikari algae pellets and the elos. He will peck at it and spit it out. Should I try something else? Would crushing the pellets help?

I have a Tailspot. He eats just about anything I throw in the tank, which tends to be flake food.

Try LRS Reef Frenzy. There is enough variety in that food to keep a blenny happy.

When I had a tailspot he was a pig & ate everything. I would mix up the diet a little bit too. Try seaweed or nori on a clip. I started mine on ON Formula 2 flakes, that ended up being breakfast. The late lunch would be Rod's Frozen, PE Mysis, or some other mixed frozen food.

Did you QT this fish before adding him to your DT? If not, then I would and treat with some Prazipro to eliminate the possibility of internal parasites. Also, what size tank do you have and are the clowns the only other tank-mates?

Best of luck!
