Hello, a few days ago I bought a saddleback butterfly and he is about 3.5". When I bought him I noticed that you couldn't really see those blue/grey stripes they normally have on their sides but I figured he was just stressed and faded from being in a bag in a box for a day. However he has been eating and acting normal yet there are no signs of the stripes not even faint ones. I mean I know there is some variation in color pattern but all of them that I see online have at least some stripes.

So I am wondering if you think this is just the way he looks or if something is wrong?

That's good to know I was assuming it had to just be his colors but I've never seen one without the stripes.

Yeah he didn't eat the first day but the second day he started eating everything. I actually had a harder time getting my raccoon butterfly to eat which I had to try everything under the sun for about a week to get eating.

Thanks
